Birth Center is located at 424 S. Washington Street in Kennewick, Washington.
The
Birth Center is a quiet, warm and safe environment for the laboring woman and
her family members, friends, and doula.
We provide
a microwave, refrigerator and have a private courtyard for the expectant family.
We also provide a comfortable and relaxing environment in which checkups are performed
and childbirth classes are taught.
While
mother and baby are tended to after birth, the father paints a heart with the
baby's name on it and hangs it in our private courtyard.
Mothers who are having a normal
labor are encouraged to eat and drink to keep up their strength.
We
also offer a jacuzzi tub for the expectant parents to labor or birth in if they
choose. And to welcome the newest family member, many often give their newborn
a Leboyer bath.
