Our Mission is to provide comprehensive care to a diverse group of women and families through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood in an environment that is both physically and emotionally safe.

We offer effective, safe pain relief Including under waterbirth in our large, luxurious birth tub and comfortable labor enhancing methods such as the birth ball.

Columbia Birth Center is one of only 52 nationally accredited birth centers, and the only accredited birth center in Washington State. It is also licensed by the State of Washington's Department of Health. Columbia Birth Center is minutes away from Kennewick General Hospital and two other major medical centers should a transfer be required. Our services are covered by most insurance carriers.

 

Columbia Birth Center has been identified by Fit Pregnancy magazine (December 2002/January 2003 issue) as one of the Five Best Birth Centers in the United States. We're so proud of our staff and clients!

 

Our owner, Cynthia Flynn, travelled to Sri Lanka in January, 2005 to provide humanitarian relief to the victims of the tsunami. Congratulations to the Maughan's on the birth of their third child at Columbia Birth Center. They are the first family to have three children here and all of their children were born here. Come to the Center and find their hearts on the fence. Way to go!
